Me & Mine
She wears her hair with a daisy chain
‘Round her head like a halo;
Careful and tender be the bane,
Of the lovely maiden’s hero

I have seen her undress my spirit
With nothing but her eyes and soul;
She keeps my name like a secret,
Next to the beating heart she stole
And if this is love, then let it be pure
As clean as freshly fallen snow;
And with her hand in mine, secure,
Let this be all I know
And if our love be considered wrong,
Then I should never want to belong
